Vacationer - one of my favorite upcoming bands - have just released a new track today called "Gone". I used their first song, "Trip" for my Paper Tiger video, and this one has pretty much the same relaxed, daydreamy sound to it. Definitely a band worth following.

Balam Acab, the project of 20-year-old Alec Koone, released an excellent album last month called "Wander/Wonder". It has a very atmospheric, almost otherworldly feeling to it - with drowsy beats and distant, echoing vocals similar to those of Burial.

A fitting soundtrack for sleepless nights and for the many upcoming rainy months.
